Message scroll and it is best to provide optimal flow to the turbine flange of the exhaust manifold and allow the turbine housing to control the convergence of gases from there. The manifolds are only the conduit between the cylinder head port and the turbine housing inlet - we are just optimizing flow between the two parts - once it enters the turbine housing the flow is no longer controlled by the manifolds.
